Our story

Started with one tomato plant on a fourth-floor balcony

Ruby grew her first tomatoes on the balcony of her family's flat off Tower Bridge Road. Neighbours kept asking how, so she and her friend Kofi started setting up balconies for them at weekends.

Now Balcony Bloom plants balconies across Bermondsey, Rotherhithe and Borough. Everything is peat-free, the pots are reclaimed where we can find them, and we deliver by cargo bike.
